Look like Radar on MASH
OK. Just dated myself. Wore this the other day. Temp was only in the low 30s so not a super test but it kept my head toasty warm. The little bill actually blocks most the sun when pulled low for those that need good vision in the woods. The first time you put this on, it will stick up about 6 inches higher than you want. Just scrunch it down since you cannot deepen your fold like a normal stocking hat.

Hat comes as stated. It's surprisingly thick wool. It's warm. It's cheap. And it is definitely unissued surplus. Can't be beat at the price.
