The Arkansas Ceramic Rod at 4 1/2" cant be beat for keeping your edge on not just your knife but you wallet. I bought 4 the price was so right.
bensbackwoods is the little store with the big box store prices you know I think the even beat the big stores on prices.

I bought this in combination with the Eze Lap 3 file set after watching the video produced by Ben's Backwoods to refurbish some Mora knives that were in rough shape. After the file work, this ceramic rod was just the trick to put the final touch on the blades. Definitely worth the weight. Its going straight in my woods kit.

This is a must to finish and re-touching up your edge. A few swipes and your blade is again razor sharp!

Have used ceramic rod sharpeners before and was never impressed, however, I bought a few of these because the price was so good I couldn't resist. These rods work much better then others I've tried. Perfect for the carbon steel Mora knives.

Now this is a handy little tool. It's about the same size as a fire steel. I am thinking of putting a lanyard or handle on it to make it handy to touch up a blade. I like it.

I received my order from Ben's backwoods (I believe it to be my fourth) the same way as the others ON TIME IN PERFECT CONDITION !!!. I feel that if BEN handles his family life like he does his business he's a very blessed man! He is the caliber of man you want to have your back. PS. The Arkansas ceramic rods I ordered were for stocking up and friends.

Simple and functional. The ceramic is unglazed so it has a fine grit to it. Perfect for touching up your edge and honing.
