Solidly built, very effective, and hard to lose

I had a green-handled version of the Bahco Laplander folding saw once before, but I misplaced it a couple of years ago. The new hi-vis version cuts just as well (I sliced through a Eastern red cedar sapling with little effort in about 10 seconds yesterday) and should be harder to lose thanks to its day-glow orange handle. Thanks to Ben's for offering this version!

You will not go wrong in anyway by purchasing this saw in this color, I purchased the green first for myself and then the orange Hi-Vis for my wife, never had any issues with either of the saws I personally for most situations prefer the push pull cutting action of the Bahco’s over just the pull of a lot of other saws, just my preference, still using the same blades never sharpened and still cutting just fine. A Bahco, Bow saw, Axe, and a knife,”Let’s build a cabin”, these 4 items being the woodworking foundation of my kit. Bens is great, fast shipping and high quality items.

The Bahco Laplander is the best folding saw I have ever owned. It cuts in both directions and makes sawing a breeze. Highly recommended for your pack or work shop.

I have not yet field tested this item but it arrived in pristine condition. The description is spot on, but I didn't count on how huge this is regardless of the dimensions indicated online! GREAT value fast ship and I look forward to using this in my get-home bag and bug out bag kits. Thanks! PS this is the only vendor that sells the high viz handle around me!

The Best Folding Saw

I've had several folding saws in the past. Some good others, not so much.The Bahco Laplander is hands down the most effective and most reliable one so far. The bright orange is just icing on the cake. If I ever do wear it out, I will make a repeat purchase!

Have one. Been looking for one less easily lost if set down. This orange one was the perfect solution. Picked up one by itself and one as a combo with the Mora. Their both great.

I own 2 Bahco Laplander saws, one for my backpack and one for my vehicle. It cuts through softwoods and hardwoods, dry or green. A most have for your outdoor adventures.

Bahco Laplander better than I thought

The Bahco Laplander saw turned out to be better than I thought it would be. The reviews I read were encouraging but you always wonder. I took it to my sons deer lease recently and used on a fallen sweetgum tree that was about 3" in diameter. I cut off a section to bring home for some carving projects and the saw made a neat clean cut all the way through in about 30 seconds. I used it again when I got home and the results were the same. I think this would be a handy saw to carry in a vehicle or back pack.
