Great Book
I've been a woods loafer for most of my life, but this book taught me a BUNCH of new stuff. I wish I would of would have found it earlier.

title says it all
the title says it all; this is quite literally the book on bushcraft.

Great for learning safety skills with tools
I am a beginner bushcrafter and this book has been a great tutorial. I especially appreciate that it goes in depth regarding usage safety of knives, axes and saws.

BUSHCRAFT by Mors Kochanski
Well written, easy to follow, very informative. Everyone should own this great book and learn these skills. I am 64yr old woman & my son is 44. Each time we are together - we try to learn/make/do something new/that we have never tried before. This book will promote that for certain. Thank you

A "Must Have", on anyones' bookshelf....
Young or Old, new to Bushcraft,or not... this book is comprehensive, yet easy enough to digest, and apply simple, yet complex tasks...As Mors would say, "The more you know, the less you carry"....knowledge weighs nothing...

Good book
Very informative book, lots of info on fire making and safety with axe and knife while in the wilderness. Great book for those in the northern ranges, only wish it had more on the hardwoods region.

Must own for any Canadian Bushcrafter
Worth the purchase for the axe section alone. Just getting into axes (own a couple GBs, and also have a Council Boys axe on order from Ben's). Unless you're an arborist, you will probably learn at least a few more ways that felling a tree can damage you. You'll probably read this more than once.
