      Awesome Packable tool

      Got these and was headed straight into the woods that weekend. They were perfect: effective, lightweight, and easy to use. I promise there is room for them in your pack for them. They work on everything, especially effective on axes for me.

      Easy to carry, sharpens everything. (Put a razor edge on my Tomahawk). Small enough to slip into a pack, or pouch. they do the job quickly. no more excuses for a dull knife/tool.The only way these could be better is if some else did the sharpening.

      I had a couple Mora knives that were in rough shape. I watched the sharpening video from Ben's Backwoods. These tools by far were the quickest and easiest way to remove the chips and put a good working edge back on. They are going in my woods kit.

      Great Combination

      I use this combination of 3 diamond files to sharpen my Gransford Bruks hunter axe as shown on the video. These sharpeners and the technique shown work great for the blade geometry of this axe which is thinner than most of those produced in North America. Considerable file work might be needed to prepare a thicker edge for these diamond sharpeners. Most of the Scandi axes are just about ready to be brought back to a very sharp edge in just a few minutes, however.

      I love these diamond sharpeners! They are inexpensive, great for every size tool, are light enough to carry anywhere, and last forever. If you get them bloody or dirty just throw them in the dishwasher.

      I purchased the EZE LAP DIAMOND SHARPENER FILE SET after watching one of Ben's BUSHCRAFT VIDEOS on the proper way to sharpen a MORA knife blade. I have always used stones for my knife sharpening needs, but not anymore it's good bye messy oil stones. It's been real and it's been fun but not REAL FUN.
