This DVD has some of the best bow drill instruction I have seen, very easy to understand. It also has a good knife safety and safe knife cuts section. Covers bow drill, hand drill, flint and steel , fire piston, Ferrocerium rod and fresnal lens fire.
The Bow drill set that comes with the dvd is set up and ready to make coals. This set has a low friction ceramic handhold and a yucca spindle with a cottonwood base. This set will save you alot of frustration while learning this skill the right way. I would have paid alot for this many years ago when I was learning!

Wow...if you have any questions on making fire, the video explains in great detail. Kit components are best quality. Awesome fire making learning tool.

In just about 2 minutes I had an ember, it a kind of fun to start a fire this way.
