I have used these for years and they are quick and easy for hanging pots above a fire. The chain wraps around your bail and S hook grabs the chain.
These are sized for hanging from a galley pole or tripod set at nipple height. When using these for hanging from a head height galley pole we recommend a loop of paracord around the pole and attach the chain to the cord.
