This Leuku is a large lightweight knife designed for multi purpose use. The balance point is at the blade/handle juncture which enables you to choke up on the handle and peel/feather sticks with the feel of a smaller knife. For chopping you can slide your hand back to the hatchet like knob on the 6" handle which gives this knife the leverage and feel of a short machete.
