Mora Garberg Tip Modification.
This Mod shortens the blade by about 1/4"
This also lowers the blade point by about 1/4"
This gives the tip closer to a spear point and improves control while carving etc.

Great Modification!

Recently I had Ben modify the tip on my Garbergz, along with some other modifications creating the drop point tip made that knife a much better too, IMHO.
So, this time I sent Ben my Kansbol knife to complete this modification on. Without any other modifications this tip reprofiling made my Kansbol a perfect knife.
Prior to this modification I was having a hard time deciding which might be the better knife as each had its pros & cons. After this tip reprofiling I find the Kansbol the better knife for my purposes.
As to the work itself, Ben did an excellent job on both knives. Both knives were returned to me looking the work was part of the original design, not an aftermarket modification.
I highly recommend this service by Ben for either your Garberg or Kansbol knives!

Very Good Modification

I didn’t dislike the Mora Garberg, but it is not my favorite knife. The modification done to the tip, creating a true drop point blade, changed the entire profile of the knife in my opinion. I much prefer the modified version of my Garberg (or, should I say my Ben-berg).
The job was expertly done at a very reasonable price and returned to me quickly. My communication with Ben on this aproject was both helpful and cordial.
I have asked if he would consider doing the same modification on my Mora Kansbol.
