Carlisle long shank bait hook. These work great on trout and panfish including larger fish as well. A smaller hook will catch more fish for survival purposes. The long shank also gives you the ability to tie flies with these or make "paracord flies"

My go to set up for panfish is this hook, no split shot or weights....just use the bobber as weight to cast it out.
