Bundle with a frying pan for baking or use as a plate. Great addition to a kit.

2nd review
Ordered a 2nd one of these and as I hoped, they nest together nicely. So 2 (of the same 9" size pans) stack perfectly and take up just a tiny bit more room than a single.

Not "just a baking pan"
This is a great camping pan. I use a lot of cast iron but don't always want to take it to the bush. The high-carbon steel in this pan performs similarly to cast iron but doesn't weigh nearly as much. The lack of a handle is also a plus - keep a pot gripper away from the fire and it's always cool when you need it. It also works well as a pan in a reflector oven. I use it that way in the Swedish reflector oven that Ben sells and it works well. Even if they had this pan at Wal Mart I would still prefer to order from Ben - good guy to deal with and reliable. I also find that he doesn't carry any junk, everything I've ordered is good stuff. Not sure I could say that about the other place...

Frying pan and baking pan combo...
I have paired a frying pan with handle and carry a baking pan as a combo. Great utility in preparing and cooking a meal. Solves cooking and keeping things hot or warm. Stacks together for easy packing.

Excellent frying pan
Excellent frying pam. I used this on last overnighter with excellent result. Stir fry asparagus, pepper and mushroom to accompany my steak for dinner followed by fried eggs over easy for breakfast. No sticking what-so-ever and quick clean up with a little boiling water. This pan now has a regular home in my pack!

Great for camping
I've had one of these for a couple of years and just ordered two more recently. I have been very pleased with them. Now that I have three of them I can use one for cooking, one as a lid and the other one as a plate. Or in a larger group of campers I can use them all as skillets. I highly recommend these, and the shipping was extremely fast.

Great addition to my cook kit
Very nice construction, sturdy, even heat and plenty of room to cook for 2+ to eat.

It's a baking pan.
Not impressed could have bought one at Wal Mart. (Bensbackwoods comment...These are carbon steel pans that can be seasoned like cast iron, I dont think walmart stocks them in carbon steel.)

Great Skillet
I should have ordered the smaller skillet since I plan using it with my Rocket Stove.

Exactly what I needed!
I have been looking for a good hiking/ camping pan, but I haven't been able to find what I needed. I knew of bensbackwoods.com, but only after I was browsing it one day that I remembered they carried this pan. And as the name implies, as well as their YouTube videos, I trusted that they carried proper equipment. I have used the pan twice at the time of this review, but that's enough to notice that it is very good at producing those mountain meals everyone knows taste better in the woods than anywhere else. The 9" is a perfect size for me, but if you're trying to save weight or space then try the 6", I'm sure it's only going to improve your capabilities in the woods. I hope this helps, and thank you Bensbackwoods. Also, I have to commend their shipping as it was very prompt.
