This size set up is ideal for 2-4 people, the 16cm is large enough for a half gallon shore lunch chili mix, fry bannock in the pan and boil tea in the kettle.
This is the set up I use on my pots, the pot gripper can be used for pouring or handling the main pot or for using the insert as a pan.
I dont bother washing the outside of my pots as black soot transfers heat faster and Im lazy, just throw it in the sack and the rest of your gear stays soot free. A 6 5/8 lightweight carbon pan will also nest inside the 16cm insert tray.

Glad I got the stainless steel billy pot
Im glad I purchased the 16 cm stainless steel combo kit. I looked at the competition's aluminum billy pot with the spout but the lid on the aluminum pot is flimsy and is a tougher fit. Very happy with the 16 cm billy pot, pan, lid lifter and kettle with the stuff sack. Stuff sack keeps everything in one place.
