    This is a fine sharpener that works well for touch up in the field or as a sharpening step between the fine diamond stones and the leather strop

      Best for daily or field touch-ups

      Been using these ceramic rods for years. At the end of the day I give my knife a touch up on this and my knives stay razor sharp always. Also convenient for in-the-field for light backpacking-type use. I wouldn't depend on it for maintaining a hard-use bushcraft knife. But for EDCs it is my first pick.

      Bought 5 and put them in kits. A super simple touch up sharpener to keep a fine edge when re-grinding isn't necessary, or to polish after using stones in the field.

      First off Bens was great with all aspects of the order. The ceramic rods work extremely well helping to put the finishing touches on my blades. They are very plainly a good item at a very good price.

      The Arkansas Ceramic Rod at 4 1/2" cant be beat for keeping your edge on not just your knife but you wallet. I bought 4 the price was so right. bensbackwoods is the little store with the big box store prices you know I think the even beat the big stores on prices.
