Great pan!
Bought this pan to nest with my gsi 1L kettle. Not a perfect fit, but a folded bandana filled up the small gap between the bottom of the kettle and this pan. Pan takes a great seasoning. Thank you, Ben, for stocking a quality product.

Small skillet with a big attitude
I like carbon steel pans. I have a bigger one for my kitchen that has worked well so I thought that I would try a trail sized one too. I have not had it too long so I am still seasoning it, but the surface is shaping up nicely so I think it will be stick free. Good size for the trail. It is quite substantial so I suspect it will do well with whatever I throw at it. Glad I got it and would recommend it to others.

For baking in my Svante Freden reflector oven
I bought this for baking small portions in my reflector oven. It works very well. Better than the commercially made baking pans I had been using because these pans are dark on the outside. This helps with more even heat distribution and baking. Carbon Steel is my camping version of cast iron. When used and cared for as directed, carbon steel seasons, cooks, and cleans up almost the same as cast iron. Paderno is a very high quality brand. Just what you'd expect from Ben!

Paderno Carbon Skillet
Very impressed with the quality of the product and after seasoning it works like a champ for frying or cooking chores. Would and may purchase another for boat camping in near future.

Heavy! For 6 oz.
Not a lightweight pie tin. I was surprised. Very nice.

How had I not heard of this before.
For the weight and cast iron like qualities of this pan there is no reason not to own one. It fits right under my 14mm Zebra put in the stuff sack. I bake in it, eat of it, keep items i need for cooking off the ground. It has become part of the system. Take the time to season it, and keep the cook surface nice and smooth and this will not disappoint.

Takes time to season but well worth it
I purchased this pan for my solo use and I have to say it is well made and should outlast me. It took a while to season it properly and after a few tries, I finally got it right. Like the Pan Man review says, wipe a fine coat of oil on, heat it till smoking, let it cool and do it again. It truly did take maybe a dozen times but the results were well worth it. Great pan for the price and Bens shipping was excellent.

Good, sturdy, functional little pan.
I haven't used this little pan very much yet but it seems a good sturdy cooking item. It's large enough to allow the large Mors Kochansky bush pot to sit inside it and make a nice compact cook kit for one or two people. I seasoned it with a little oil and just baked some bannock in it for breakfast this morning and it worked fine. I haven't fried in it yet but I'm pretty sure that as long as the heat isn't allowed to get too hot the pan will work fine.
